BRUSH with FRIENDS was founded in 2022 by artist Karen Gregory and her husband Steve. Karen has been painting and drawing since she was a child. Her formal art training began in high school commercial art. After graduation she attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts. While in art school, she taught adult art classes which sparked her love of teaching. Karen’s art skills have been used in all areas of her entire career – from technical illustrations to corporate marketing. While raising her two boys her desire to teach art was rekindled which led to her accepting a role as an art teacher for a Philadelphia elementary school. Her background in art, teaching and technology made her the ideal person to develop the school’s S.T.E.A.M program (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics), as well as developing STEM and art curricula for other schools. She’s a pioneer in putting the Art in STEM! Karen is an enduring learner, a gifted artist, and a powerful teacher to people of all ages.

At BRUSH with FRIENDS our mission is to bring art to every corner of Southern New Jersey. No matter your skill level or artistic ability, everyone will find their inner artist at one of our events or paint parties.

Private Parties: Our private parties are great for birthdays, girls’ night out, fundraisers, bachelorette parties, corporate team building and more! Parties can be held at your venue of your choice in the Southern New Jersey area and a bit beyond.

Public Art Events: Public art events can be held at your retail venue in Southern New Jersey from private rooms to tasting rooms.  No art skills required!  You provide the space and BRUSH with FRIENDS will create an art studio with all supplies required from set up to tear down. We ensure our artwork will inspire a masterpiece for each of your guests.
